Live Insure Success Interview with CEO & Founder of Business Empire Magazine: Bryan Young!!

(Avalon) Long time no speak Bryan. I hope your doing well. Before we go into detail of what you do, the people would like to know who you are. Who is Bryan Young. Tell the people a little about yourself. What kind of person, is Bryan Young?

(Bryan) Well, my name is Bryan Young and I am the CEO of "http://www.businessempiremag.com">http://www.businessempiremag.com. I started my first business when I was 8 years old and have been involved with more than 15 since. I’m really a laid back person that usually makes people laugh. I’m only 22 and most are just starting to discover my entrepreneurial mindset simply from the publicity my college entrepreneurship program has been giving me.

2) (Avalon) When did you first get serious about life, what is has to offer, and your future?

(Bryan) My mom was in the military so honestly I think I have always been serious. She was always teaching me lessons to use in life and my young cousins’ and brother look at me more as a father figure because of it.

3) (Avalon) Having such a mindset, how did it differentiate you and your peers? How did your friends and others look at you?

(Bryan) Honestly when I was younger I hated being so different. It’s weird when you hang out with kids that are 2-3 years older than you and their parents tell them how you’re more mature than they are. For years I didn’t tell people about my business endeavors because I felt like the butt of the jokes. While it still happens I’m more confident about myself and the positives that are coming from Businessempiremag.com. I believe that you can
accomplish more with a positive mindset. My peers usually don’t see my mindset until we get into serious conversations and then they say I think like a 40 year old. They say I have the unique ability to see the bigger picture. I’ve really had to stop trying to turn a blind eye to my abilities and embrace them and myself for who I
am!

4) (Avalon) What kind of struggles do you face, or obstacles, that get in the way of pursuing your dreams? How have you overcome them?

(Bryan) Well, I don’t face it now but I was raised by cocaine dealers. I honestly think that watching them is where I learned how to be an entrepreneur. Now my biggest struggle is trying to finish college and run a successful business. Businessempiremag.com has grown even faster than I had expected and it has been quite
difficult to keep up. I simply feel that it is better to try and fail than not try at all.

5) (Avalon) What is your definition of an Entrepreneur?

(Bryan) Anyone that understand that success is an option explored by those who aren’t afraid to fail. Being an entrepreneur is about taking calculated risk to improve your chances of being successful. The biggest trait of an entrepreneur is being driven because there will be many times that you will want to give up.

6) (Avalon) People are wondering, What is Business Empire Magazine? (BEM) What is its goal?

(Bryan) Businessempiremag.com is a unique website that gives any inspiring or current entrepreneur the tools necessary to improve their chances for success. We have just recently started to connect college entrepreneurship programs to business professionals through our site. In our first week we have landed my own program at NC State and 4 of the top 10 programs in the country along with 20 others. That gives us 25 and counting so far.

(Bryan) Wow, there are so many things that we plan on doing with Businessempiremag.com. 5-10 years down the road from now we plan on being a business consultant or investment firm.

9) (Avalon) How is BEM different from the competition?

(Bryan) We have really found no one that does everything in one place like we do. Our site traffic has grown by 60% a week because we are looking to help others put money back in their pockets first.

10) (Avalon) Where do you see yourself and BEM five years from now?

(Bryan) Honestly, my personal goal is to be named the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the year and be ranked in the top 3 of the top 25 entrepreneurs under 25. Not for my ego but that to me will say that I’m doing my job of actually helping others. Also if we are getting that type of respect in the business world I don’t see
how Businessempiremag.com will not be one of the first things that people will turn to for help. We had 17,905 come in the first 30 minutes we launched our membership offer which shutdown our servers. That makes us believe that we are on the right track.

11) (Avalon) What do you want to get out of life? And How do you want yourself and BEM to be remembered?

(Bryan) I really want Businessempiremag.com to be the place that people go to build a successful business. Personally, I just want to be successful and make my mother proud.
