Artist Bio:
Sikai is a 24-year old rap artist from Stamford, Connecticut currently building his reputation in
the Tri-State for his quick-fire cadences, genre-bending production, and most importantly his story.
The Painkilling Music Group’s frontman chooses to create organic music made to experience
through his live shows and unique visual concepts. Growing up during the 90’s, Sikai and his
older sibling experienced the culture which was dominated countless by avant-garde music
videos, hood comedies and cassette tapes though their mother wanted to shield them from the
common adult messages in the music.

Now a 15-month-old toddler, Beyonce and Jay-Z's growing little girl made her first appearance this month during a family lunch outing that was tres chic and cosmopolitan: At Szptime restaurant in Paris on Thursday, April 25.
Looking more grown up than ever, the famous music world baby showed off a full head of hair and wore a "Pump Up the Volume" t-shirt, blue jeans and stylish colorful sneakers. Going without makeup, Blue's 32-year-old mother (in the midst of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour) held her little girl during the outing. Proud papa Jay-Z, 43, also took a turn holding and cuddling his little girl.…

Jay-Z and Beyonce don't always address rumors, but when they do, they don't hold back. Beyonce made a whole movie to dispel a few rumors about her pregnancy and life, and on Thursday, Jay-Z released "Open Letter," a blistering diss track that takes aim at politicians criticizing the couple's trip to Cuba, mocks stories about his new sports management company and even throws a bit of shade Barack Obama's way.
"Politicians never did sh-t for me / except lie to me, distort history," Hov raps after boasting that he "done turned Havana into Atlanta."
"They wanna give me jail time and a fine -- Fine, let me commit a real crime," he says, referencing conservative politician's efforts to investigate his trip to Cuba. "Obama said, 'Chill you're going to get me impeached' / You don't need this sh-t anyway, chill with me on the beach."
Swizz Beatz and Timbaland produced the track. Swizz can be heard adding his signature "right!" and "God damn it!" drops throughout the track. He also memorably repeats the line "Y'all goin' learn today," a refrain Jay picks up later in the song.
In a morning call on New York's Hot 97, Swizz revealed that the song was started in Jay-Z's office. "I had the portable drum machine with me, then we went down to the 40/40 [club] to watch the game," he said. "Then [Timbaland] came by and was like, 'That beat is crazy.' Next morning, Jay called me with verses."
Hot 97 played the record on repeat for…

Jay-Z's business empire continues to expand. The Brooklyn, New York born and raised rapper has gone from street hustler to being one of the most respected businessmen in America with a net worth of $475 million according to Forbes.
His investments in the Brooklyn Nets, Roc-A-Wear, Roc Nation and Carol's Daughterhave paid off handsomely. Now Hov has now partnered with Creative Artists Agency to launch Roc Nation Sports, a full-service sports management company, reports USA Today.
"Because of my love of sports, it was a natural progression to form a company where we can help top athletes in various sports the same way we have been helping artists in the music industry for years," said Jay in a statement.…

The concept of the song I love, not actually the whole 'started from the bottom' theme, because it's pretty much 'played out,' and when your signed to a Major, and started from the bottom, the accomplishment is a facade; to a degree (arguably so). Proof? These artists talk and flaunt about having money, cars, when they really don't, but that's an entire other topic. So why post this? Cus we support lyricism and you can't deny talent. Meek bodies this beat (better than drake IMO); his flow was crazy. Check the footage below! #BAMG!
